Visakhapatnam: Pfizer Healthcare India Pvt Ltd, a leading multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, in collaboration with Sankar Foundation, organized a comprehensive free eye screening camp at Pedamushidiwada in Parawada mandal in Anakapalle district under its CSR initiative. The camp received an overwhelming response from nearby villages, with significant participation from the community. As many as 523 outpatients were screened. The organisers presented 342 glasses and identified 55 for cataract procedure. Medicines were given to 174 villagers. The camp was inaugurated by Ravi Chander Katta, Site Head, Pfizer, in the presence of senior Pfizer officials Ravi Kiran (HR Head), Vijaya Mahajan (Manufacturing Head), Rajesh Ravuri (Finance Head), Arvind Jayaraman (EHS Head), MV Rama Raju (Public Affairs & CSR Head) and Sankar DGM K Bangar Raju and others.
